Hi there everyone!
I have an awesome little tutorial from one of my CTs Angela aka Toucan Scraps.  She does lots of really cute hybrid things using digital art and was kind enough to share this one with us.   You all should check out her blog here where she does many more!
Thank you Angela!

Arty Wedding Card

I thought I'd do something a bit different to the norm for the wedding card to give at the weekend using one of Cilenia Curtis's Scribbles & Scripts. In her first set one of the scribbles features a heart, I've made this the focal image of the card.

Supplies:
  • White card-stock
  • Green card-stock
  • Fancy Green thread
  • Old Bells (I rescued these from a wind chime a neighbour was about to throw away, it had lots of lovely beads and things on it.)
  • Double Sided Tape
  • Computer & Printer
  • Scribbles & Scripts 1 by Cilenia Curtis

  1. Assemble the physical supplies first
  2. Resize the heart scribbles image to fit the  project
  3. Recolour it to match with my colour scheme
  4. Print onto white card stock
  5. Crop the image and other card stocks to size.
  6. Mount the printed image onto the green cardstock

Wrap the green thread around the mounted card three times securing the ends at the back with sticky tape.

Mount firmly onto a folded card base using double sided tape.
Tie the bell onto the treads with a short length of tread and trim.
