I just had to share a new find with you all! The Write Start! Was looking for new and innovative ideas for my four year old grand-daughter who is starting to read and write. Wanted to get creative to get her excited. I had bought her a table and chairs for a writing corner in her room at Christmas and recently a journal and scrapbook of her very own... but needed some more ideas... so on the search I went.
This blog I stumbled across is AWESOME! Just what I was looking for. After you see this, you will know exactly what I am doing now... maker her a really awesome Writer's work center for her room.
I just loved one of her reader's "Writing Corners" and plan on using this one as my 'template' for my little Miss Bailey. Still looking for all the right pieces (think I'm going to have to build the cubes myself as they want WAY too much money for nice ones in the stores). But, her mama is really good at this so may to enlist her help! My hands just can't perform like they used to, the arthritis is just not being good this spring.
Anywhos, check it out. HIGHLY recommend for anyone who knows little ones.
